	TYPES OF PLASTERS The composition of plasters remains essentially unchanged from the time of the Greeks. The only variations that have occurred are in the number of coats applied and in the finish of the plaster. LIME-BASED PLASTER Derived from hydated lime, mined from the Italian Alps and aged for six to twelve months. Lime plasters allow substrates to breath, which makes them completely inorganic and hypo-allergenic. • Calcenova • Calce Liberty • Fresconova • Mantovano • Marmorino • Prontomuro • Travertino CEMENT-BASED PLASTERS For use on surfaces where lime plasters cannot be used. 		As a specially trained Certified Master Artisan, Joseph Bronzino uses only authentic Italian plasters from Safra Colors S.p.A. These unique plaster finishes range from smooth and glass-like or soft and velvety to rough and textured. Most are extremely durable, mold-resistant, and remain colorfast for years to come.
			Aquarello Acrylic, resin-based plaster that can be applied in a variety of textures, from a smooth, sand-washed look to a more heavy-textured style. Multiple colors can be applied for a “lime-washed” effect. • Colors: Available in all colors and can be applied in combination with other colors and/or mottled. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Economical, extremely durable, resistant to crumbling and degradation.
			Calce Liberty (Lime Paint) Mineral lime-based plaster with a soft matte, velvet texture; can be applied as a semi-transparent glaze resulting in a unique surface glow – a traditional finish with a contemporary touch. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Breathable and mold-resistant. The aging process only enhances the surface aesthetics.
			Calcenova 100% lime-based plaster with an earthy look and a smooth, semigloss finish. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Durable; resistant to cracks and crumbling. Mold-resistant; exposure to natural light, rain, or frost will not alter color.
			Eturia Acrylic-based plaster with a textured finish that can be matte or shiny. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Elastomeric, scrub and detergent resistance.
			Fiorentino Acrylic, resin-based plaster with a soft, matte finish. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors, especially walls and ceilings. • Benefits: The look of natural, mineral plaster, but with greater durability. Water repellent, washable, easily patched or retouched.
			Fresconova 100% unfiltered, lime-based and marble dust plaster with a classic look and a smooth or textured, semi-matte finish. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Durable; resistant to cracks and crumbling. Mold-resistant; exposure to natural light, rain, or frost will not alter color.
			Marmorino 100% lime-based and marble dust plaster with a plush, classical look and a smooth, matte finish. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Durable; resistant to cracks and crumbling. 			Montovano 100% lime-based plaster with a smooth, hard finish. Renowned for its illustrious history dating back to the Renaissance. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Very durable, water repellent, washable,self-polishing; easily patched or retouched. 			Murs d’Art Cellulose-based plaster with a rustic, textural, but smooth stone-like finish. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors. • Benefits: Mold and mildew resistant; sound and thermal insulation capabilities.
			Stucco Romano Acrylic based plaster. • Colors: Available in all colors. • Usage: Interiors. • Benefits: Durable, water repellent, washable, self-polishing.
			Travertino 100% lime-based plaster with a smooth, matte marbled finish similar to Tivoli stone. • Colors: Available in over 800 colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. • Benefits: Breathable, natural mineral finish.Exposure to natural light, rain, or frost will not alter color. 			Veneziano Acrylic resin-based plaster, with a high-impact, high-gloss finish. • Colors: Available in all colors and can be applied in combination with other colors. • Usage: Interiors and exteriors. Ideal for high traffic areas, bedrooms, even shower stalls. • Benefits: Very durable, water repellent, washable,self-polishing; easily patched or retouched.
